Since 2000, beginning in November, Q102 DJs talk about the holiday needs of St. Joseph Orphanage during the broadcast, and the response is overwhelming. Over 1,000 children receive wonderful gifts during the holiday season. Q102s sponsorship of St. Joseph brought the individual stories of the children to their listening audience, and in 2004, personal interviews with DJs Jeff and Jen brought the interviews to life on the air. Also, since 2004, Q102 and the Trans-Siberian Orchesta have donated almost $65,000 from their December Cincinnati concerts at US Bank arena to SJO.
